I have been reading and hearing about the problems Smartbro subscribers are encountering right now. I know for a fact how unreliable that internet service provider (ISP) is. Your DSL connection is good only in places where Smart signal is the strongest. Plus, I have friends who were subscribers and they have complained time and time again about slow or lost connection.
The thing is, it’s not only Smartbro that delivers mediocre service. Even Bayantel where I am a subscriber to performs poorly. There are days when the connection is slow. The speed that they promised has yet to be reached. I always use Speedtest to determine my internet connection speed.
I am also hearing poor customer service from Globe. And erratic internet connection from PLDT DSL subscribers.
You know what our true problem is? We have limited choices when it comes to ISPs. If only we have at least a dozen companies competing for the same service, I doubt these Smart, Globe, PLDT and Bayantel will give us deplorable service.
If you are experiencing poor internet connection, do not hesitate to call customer service right away. That’s what I do. Hey, we pay for the services, we ought to get what we’ve been paying for in the first place, right?
Happy Friday everyone!

We finally went wireless with a giant frapping antenna atop our house that you can see from the street. It’s ugly, but it works.
Our other option was Qwest DSL. What a joke that is. Try to stay connected long enough to even load a single page! And I think they train their customer service people to lie.
Did you know that for most major companies it is cheaper to replace you as a customer than to try to make you happy? They just don’t care.

Hi, Sasha! Yes, I heard many complaints about SmartBro but I guess all internet companies have their share of not satisfied customers also. The main reason is the Philippines do not have that technology yet to compare with other countries that can load a page in the blink of an eye. Kaya nga these companies here do invest in customer service to appease the subscribers. I am happy with SmartBro right now because I have some reasons to. I came from a dial up connection.LOL!
By the way, I have an award for you and I added this blog in my BEE FRIENDS.Good day!

Sasha, wala akong problema sa smartbro ko sa pinas. Yung smart tower kase malampit lang sa amin, cguro 3 km away lang. Kaya super lakas ang signal. Malakas pa sa kidlat. I also use speedtest.
