- I really love receiving comments. Most of the time I was not able to return it but I am trying my best to do so. Do you make it a point to return/reply to comments?
- Do you think that because you are dropping EC cards as much as you can that you are forgetting that EC’s goal is for us to get to know great blogs as well drop along the way? Do you still comment on blogs that you drop cards at?

When I’m surfing EC blogs I’m trying to primarily find something interesting to follow. Sometimes a blog doesn’t offer much to comment on, so I just drop a card. Sometimes you just don’t have anything to say. If the entry tweaks my interest though, I usually leave a comment – it’s hard not to. But also, the more I like a post the less likely I am to comment, because I don’t want to SPOIL the entry! I know it’s silly, as I too love comments, but that’s what I’ve found… The best entries simply cannot be commented on.
(That’s why I added a guest book on my site hoping that if that would be the case with my blog, that receives very few comments, people could leave a guest book entry instead, just to say hi.

EC dropping is quite a time consuming thing to slot into my day. I try to drop at least 50 (no idea how people do 300 for one blog let alone more). and I try to leave some comments every day. When it’s getting close to sleep time and I still haven’t finished I just fly through the dropping and glance at the blogs. If something looks really interesting I’ll try to remember to come back there the next day. I’m really glad I signed up with EC though. It’s made my surfing much more exciting.

I like to read the most reason blog post, if it’s something I can relate to or something that really captivates me, I’ll comment and come back and read again. But I’m a comment junkie. I love getting them.

I do comment if I find a post that I have a comment for, otherwise I drop and run. I do try to comment back as well, but that does not always happen.

I usually respond to every comment on my blog (on-a-limb.com) – and make every effort to visit people’s blogs. It’s a lot of work – takes a lot of time – but it’s worth it to me. I’ve met some wonderful people that way. (And had some horror stories that will remain untold!)
I just started using Entrecard for my serial romantic fiction (DenverCereal.com). I’m just trying it out. DC doesn’t take comments, so….
Cheers!

I drop a lot of EC cards. When I find a topic that interests me I will generally comment. While I hope that others will visit and comment on my posts, I know that most do not. One of my first priorities when I first log on each day is to respond to all comments left on any of my posts. I really believe that if someone takes the time to not only visit my blog, but comment on a post, then the least I can do is acknowledge that by responding!

I have not been returning comments as I should. I am making a point to do so now.
I spend way to much time looking at other blogs even after I have hit 300 for the day.
That is how I would up here commenting today!

Hi Sasha! I think u already know that I love my comments and respond to them all, no matter how long it takes he he! Sometimes I’m quick, sometimes I’m slow, but they will get replied.
Dropping and commenting is what I love about EC. Speaking of which, thanks for dropping on me!

My last comment didn’t mention replying to comments. But I do hink it’s an important courtesy and try always to do it, even if it sometimes takes a few days. Mind you, the volume of comments I get isn’t that hig. If it grows, as I hope, I might find it more difficult to reply.

I return and reply to every comment on my blog whenever possible.
I drop many EC cards and have got to know many wonderful bloggers and read many cool blogs. I enjoy seeing yours everyday.

I try to return and/or reply to all comments I receive on my blog.
I do spend much of my day surfing and dropping EC cards and while I do that I will take the time to read through a blog and if something catches my eye I will comment.

I don’t comment on the majority of blogs I drop on – mostly because so many of them have content that I have nothing to add to or say anything about.
I do try to leave comments when there’s an entry near the top that has something I can contribute to, though, so there’s that.
