Blogging schedule

As most of you know, I have several blogs I maintain. These blogs have different themes, some are niche blogs even. A lot of bloggers I personally know ask me how I can maintain several blogs when two or three blogs are already hard to keep up to begin with.

I have a very simple answer: scheduling. I schedule posting and dropping. There are days and weeks that I can’t keep up, of course. Especially during those days when I don’t feel like writing anything, even if my mind is brimming with ideas. But as much as possible, I keep to my schedule.

Let me ask you in return… do you maintain more than one blog? If so, how do you maintain the blogs at the same time?

I plan to follow a certain schedule also but I just keep on breaking it. There are days that I absent from dropping but I still visit some blogs.

to maintain multiple income-generating blogs is like running a business. hardwork is needed

to maintain multiple non-monetized blogs is a …stress-relieving activity.

    Hi,

    I have 3blogs.
The main is the one I update regularly, the second one is just for my designs and scrappings so it doesn’t really need a regular updating. My 3rd blog is the one I seldom update, its just for collecting stuff about Pinoys and I don’t do any opps there so no worries.

    Take care :]

I can’t image having more than one blog. I am tied to the computer to long as it is. Maybe it is like being the parents of twins. A lot of work but worth it.

That schedule a post feature is awesome, but I struggle to keep up with just one blog.

i have several blogs, but only maintain one :P i’m too much of a scatterbrain to be able to cope with all of them. Now I ask myself, why so much blog? lol! it’s like an addiction to have the uber cool blogname first before someone else snatches it up. my only consolation is that i still have a list of the passwords with me, so i can open and use them at any time ;)

I’m looking to start a second blog but I want to be sure that I will be able to maintain it. I am thinking of prewriting a bunch of posts and then all I have to do is choose from my premade selection.

Great that you could manage all that! Me, I really need to have a structured schedule so I don’t stray from what needs to be done first.

By the way, I got something for you here. :)

I have three: The one about my dad and the book I wrote generally gets posted to once a week, but I do try to return drops every week day.

My other blogspot blog–Karen & Gerard Zemek is my main one that I try to post to every day or at least 6 days a week.

My PNN blog, "Zemeks Updates" is "specialty" type posts that get made sporadically as things happen. It includes my Bible Study summary of what I've learned, God's work in my life, book reviews as we finish reading books, sports commentary based on our favorite teams, news commentary if something particularly interest me and new book reviews. Also my two cats have their blogs on my PNN blog so they help with their contributions as well.

Sometimes I will post the same thing on more than one blog because the readership is different between my PNN blog and my blogspot blogs for the most part.

I have several blogs. Most of them are in Dutch, but I’ve got one in English which is about running and motherhood!

In general I manage to keep up quite nicely.
