Last year, I celebrated Thanksgiving at my former boss’ house. Nathan was the country manager of the call 
center I worked for in the past. He was an American and he married a Filipina. Every year, they would go out of their way to invite all their friends to celebrate Thanksgiving with them.
Last year, I was invited together with some of my old co-workers. It was a reunion of sorts for us. We had a lot of fun together, reminiscing about the time we spent working together and bashing our old boss! The one I called Bratinella! It was also a time for us to catch up with what was happening in our respective lives. The most memorable part of last year’s celebration was the karaoke session. Nathan really gave his all in singing that country song. It was hilarious!
This coming Thanksgiving, I am invited to celebrate it with them again. I will be bringing a Thanksgiving gift basket this time. Last year I brought a bottle of red wine. I am also invited at another friend’s house. I am still deciding where to go but I will definitely be bringing a gift basket, the one that I saw at www.1800Flowers.com when I was browsing the net for Thanksgiving gifts.
