Self righteous people

I don’t know why there are mean people out there who gets their high lambasting people who are monetizing their blogs. Personally, I think one of the best things that happened in the blogging world is blog advertising. Now bloggers like me can pay for domain registration and web hosting from their blog income. The excess can be used to alleviate other expenses of the blogger.

Almost all bloggers put up ads in their blogs. Adsense for instance. That’s blog advertising. Those who are trying to appear high and mighty about blog advertising are ALL utilizing Adsense in their blogs. Another form of blog advertising is doing paid posts. This is the one being targeted by those self righteous people. Sa totoo lang kanya-kanyang diskarte lang naman ‘yan! What do they call local companies sponsoring their blogs? Bloggers attend a certain event sponsored by a company. They will be given freebies and in return, they will write about it. What do you call that???

I just hope we all learn to respect each other. The reason why there is a red X button at the topmost right of your screen is because you can leave a web site that offends you. That’s the purpose of that X button. You can express your opinion about blog advertising but I just hope you need not hit below the belt. And please, don’t call it a “clean-up”!
