What do you normally look for in a web hosting plan? If you ask me, I look for great support, guaranteed uptime and affordability.
You see, a great support would mean that whatever problems you encounter with your plan (404 error, connection error, domain transfer hitch, etc), there will always be someone from the web hosting company who will assist you. I experienced this in my current web host. Whenever I have problems or I need my questions answered right away, I just open their chat service and I get to talk to their tech support right away.
Guaranteed uptime is something I have to be sure of. With my first web host, I had a problem with regular downtime. It is very important to me that my blogs are up at least 95% of the time. I understand there will be times when the web host company will encounter server issues. But it won’t wash if more than once a week there is downtime.
Affordability is, of course, self-explanatory. Times are tough. It won’t do you good to get an expensive web hosting plan when there are companies out there offering affordable ones with the same features.
