Where to?

exit_signYou ask this question when the elevator is not functioning and you need to go down the building floor you are currently on. Where to? To the fire exit. And you normally see where the fire exit is by the big sign at the top of the door. Exit Sign.

When you are anxious, nervous, not thinking clearly, thinking of where to find the fire exit is difficult without the sign. Believe me, I should know. I have been in the same situation in the past. Fire on the second floor of the building and our office was on the 22nd floor. Trust me, no rational thoughts would enter your mind except go down, go down, go down!

And thanks to the numerous clear, bright exit signs on the floor. We were able to go down safely. That’s the beauty of a building adhering to the law. Nobody gets harmed when there is an emergency. Just like the building our office was in. All building should have clear and lighted exit signs.
