I am still getting tons of spam comments even with the Akismet activated. Mostly from the annoying .ru sites! I’ve been blacklisting their IPs but as what I’ve read, they are using proxy servers so you can’t really catch them cause they will just keep on using other IPs.
I tried using other spam blockers but they have a conflict with my other plugins. Some are not compatible with higher versions of WordPress.
What anti-spam plugin are you using?
