I know that many overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) are sending their balikbayan packages containing their Christmas gifts to family and friends already. Some might have sent theirs weeks ago.
I suggest that you make sure you are using a legitimate courier/balikbayan package services. I remember a friend who sent a package to her family here and months after, they got the package only it’s already opened and the contents missing. You don’t want that to happen to your package containing items you bought using money you earned through blood and sweat. Even if you will shell out a bit more for the courier fee, better that way as long as you are assured that your package will be delivered safely to your love ones here. Than to use a cheap service where you package will be traveling unsafe.
