The local community in our area is conducting a fund raising for the two playgrounds nearby. My sisters and I volunteered for the event and I am tasked to sell textbooks, used ones that is. My sisters are assigned to the food area while my brother is helping with painting.
I am really happy that our local community is active in making sure that our area is well-maintained and the kids and seniors have places they can hang out in. The seniors have their play hall where there are chess sets, ping-pong tables, and bingo sets ready for them to use. The younger set has a volleyball and basketball courts for them. While the kiddies have the two playgrounds.
And we are all pitching in now to help make the kiddies happy with new sets of slides and swings and monkey bars for them.
