It is obvious that President Benigno “Noynoy” S. Aquino III or P-Noy to the masses will veer away from the holiday economics implemented by the previous president. GMA loved long weekends. Actually, it is one of the very few things that she did that I liked. Long weekends meant longer time with the family and friends, more time for oneself, a very good time for businesses and the country’s tourism.
Of course, P-Noy won’t follow in GMA’s footsteps. Goodbye long weekends!
