I’m still finding it hard to stop the spam comments. I guess it will always be there, together with the legitimate ones. All I can do is be vigilant and be patient in deleting and blacklisting their IP’s. I am also blacklisting certain words associated with the spam comments I keep on receiving.

By the way, whereas before the spam comments are limited to the lewd links and certain dubious products, I am surprised there are spam comments for links on essays, term papers and the like. I hope these sites are not stooping down to getting backlinks out of spamming blogs. I expect better from them.

I have said this in the past and I will say this again, I have been confused as to the true nature of this blog of mine. I would love for this to be a more technical one since I already have a personal blog. Then again, I am not really a very technical person so it would be hard for me to sustain a blog like that.

So until now, I am balancing things here. I am still trying things out in my mind and if it already feels right, then I’d stick to it.

My good friend M is in need of an electric blanket. Whereas here in the country the weather is hot and humid, where M is it’s snowing and the wind is blowing strongly. I know she’s missing the tropical weather but she stays where her husband is.

I don’t always say this but I do love the country’s weather. I do have my own electric fan on steady all the time, but still, it’s better that than a really cold weather, right?

I will be picking up some industrial supplies for my uncle tomorrow. He will be paying me for the errand so I am fine with it. Ha! Ha! These days, I am asking for a fee if they want me to run errands for them. Just enough for the transportation expense plus a meal on the side should I get hungry. I think it’s only fair for me to do so considering I really go out of my way to make sure I complete the errand as soon as I can.

The way the internet works really amazes me. You can find information on just about anything! You want to know how to cook a dish you want, go to the internet to find the recipe. Better yet, go find the video showing you exactly how to cook it. You want details on the Mopar performance parts your uncle needs, the world wide web has it! You need to learn how to knit? Oh yes, it’s on the web.

I can just imagine how life could have been much easier for me when I was still a student had there been an internet already. Or I think there’s already an internet but not the one we’re used to now.

I attended a wedding a few weeks ago. It was a beautiful wedding and I almost cried when the groom and the bride danced. It was a memorable night made more beautiful by the centerpieces. Each centerpiece is a combination of white flowers and three red roses. At the center stands a glass with a scented candle in it. It was really lovely. The room was almost glowing from the lights of the candles and the pureness of the white flowers.

With the number of weddings I attended, I noticed that flowers really give the place a fairy tale like feel to it. Table centerpieces have the most impact. Weddings and floral centerpieces. What a combination!
