My sister and I need to have massage tables at home with matching masseuse on the side. We are always so stressed out about so many things. Work is the number one cause of stress for my sister. Money matters is the culprit for me. I know life is supposed to be boring for those without too many problems but I’d take boredom anytime of the day if it meant zero financial problems for me!

I am sure other people out there would say the same thing. Life is just full of things that suck. One massage won’t do it. The minute you step out of the spa, the problems would come running back to you. I really wish I have my own spa at home.

Do you still write for Bloggerwave? I haven’t written for them in over a year. The cheating company still owes me more than a $100 bucks from the posts I did for them back in 2007. I followed it up again and again and again. Guess what? They didn’t do anything about it!

I saw a tweet from another blogger that says she was paid by Bloggerwave finally. So the company still exists! If you see an email coming from them telling you to grab an opportunity available, think a million times before you do it. The company is based in God knows where, doesn’t answer emails, and is always on hiatus! You don’t want to write for a company who doesn’t pay, right?

I posted something about blog designers overcharging their clients. I didn’t think much of it afterwards. I didn’t mean any harm with that post but to inform bloggers like me who get the services of blog designers to be smart when choosing who to hire or whom to buy premade designs from. I didn’t provide the link of the designer and I didn’t put the real site title. That’s it.

A few days ago I got a hate sms message from someone with the cellphone number +639152722783. The coward, of course, didn’t introduce herself. I know it’s a she because of the bitchy tirade. I knew right away it had something to do with my post because the sender knew I am a CPA and a blogger at the same time. I provided that information in this blog as well as in my sasha-says.com blog. As for the cellphone number, I already have an idea how the sender got it. And a suspect as to who the coward is.

It was in bad taste that it was sent to me during that time I was paying for my grandma’s cremation. Yes, you coward, I was grieving for my grandmother that time you sent the hate text. I was about to send a reply that says “F#@k you to hell!” but then the cashier of the funeral company called my dad and me. Lucky you! If my grandma’s body wasn’t about to be cremated then, I would have called you up and gave you the tongue lashing you deserved!

I really wish the coward won’t experience what I experienced that day. Grieving and hating at the same time. If you have issues with me you f$#cking coward, you address it to me directly. You don’t hide behind a blind sms message! Coward!

I am semi-active in Entrecard once again. Admittedly, I need the traffic the network brings. It is eating a chunk of my time since I am dropping for a number of my blogs. But that’s okay as long as I manage to achieve my goals.

I am developing long forgotten blogs of mine. I am also developing two new blogs. I bought a new domain for our little girl. I haven’t set it up yet but I will announce it here as well as in my other blogs. I will be posting daily photos and snippets from our little girl in that blog. She loves to be photographed and she is quite talkative. I can surely fill that blog with things about her in a day!

Oh, and I will add it to an EC account for traffic, too.

You wouldn’t believe how messy a portion of our living room is. The culprit? Our little Hazel and her toys! She has a lot of toys lying around her corner. Even though we pick it up and put it in her box, she would choose a new toy from it and we would find it on the floor where we picked up another one. We are teaching her how to put her toys back in her box. So far, she’s learning it bit by bit. We are also putting the toys she’s not playing with anymore in a big box that we will give to a local charity organization.

Kids these days are playing with computer games more and more. So we are happy Hazel is still interested with her toys. We are encouraging her to play with it and learn things through it.

We really need patio furniture covers right now. It’s starting to rain this side of the country and our patio furniture got soaked this past weekend due to heavy downpours. We could have gotten it taken inside but we are running out of space. My dad decided to just put some plastic bags on the furniture but since it didn’t cover the whole thing, it still got soaked.

We are freeing up space at home so we can put some of the things outside the house that can get destroyed by the rain. It’s really hard to live in a small house when there are seven of you in it most of the time.

Mike is checking out the halo headlights at CARiD.com right this very minute. He is changing the one that his car currently has. He is making major changes in his truck because according to him, he is bored with the look already.

Mike’s indulgence is his car collection. He has three right now. He doesn’t have any vices and car engines and accessories are the only things he really saves up for. I do think some blog designers charge a ridiculous amount for their services. I know that it’s hard to code and to come up with a design, especially if you are the one doing it from scratch and not just buying vectors from iStockphoto and similar sites. But to charge a $100 design fee for a simple layout and a mediocre header design??? That’s just too much!

I saw this site WAHM Designs (I won’t put the link because I don’t want this designer to get new clients!) charging an exorbitant fee for a not-so-good looking customized WordPress themes. Ridiculous rates, I tell you! This is a sample design of hers…

Check out this iStockphoto vector designer named Chihhang. You pay for a lot if you have a vector in your header similar to his. Check out Sasha-says.com which has his vector on its header. That customized WordPress theme was done by SimplyWP. And it’s not even ridiculously priced! Check SimplyWP’s portfolio. That’s what you pay $100 for! I am not sure how much they charge for custom designs now but if they do charge it that much, I tell you it’s so much worth the price! Sasha-says.com has been using the same blog design for more than a year now. I got charged a very good price for that customized blog design. Plus Kathie Wiehanne, the other half of SimplyWP, was very pleasant to deal with. I even had two more designs done by her. This is a sample of a recent design done by SimplyWP…

Now, that’s a really polished and very-well done design!

I hope other blog designers will take the time to reevaluate their service fees. Do not take advantage of bloggers who don’t know any better. Do NOT charge exorbitant fees when you know your design is mediocre! Charge that much if you can actually create a beautiful and unique design.

And if you see a blog designer charging ridiculous fees for their services, encourage others NOT to patronize the site. We bloggers work hard for the dollars we earn. Let’s not waste it in overrated blog designs!

I don’t know why I haven’t been using the internet to solve my household problems. I am always online! Rats, bed bugs and ants. These are just some of the problems I have at home. I have been hiring someone to clean the whole house every two weeks but these household pests just won’t go away!

Lo and behold! I realized I have the information I need to get rid of the pests. And it’s just a click away!

I now know how I can get rid of the pests. I am praying that it will work. Ah, the internet is really a fountain of information. If you know how to use it properly, that is.

I saw the atv that a celebrity bought. He has a 5-hectare property that he turned into his very own residence. Because the property is so big, he needs an atv to go around it. Imagine that!

I am really envious of celebrities with huge residences. I am not dreaming of a big house. I want a big property. A big lawn, backyard, garden… I want a place where the family can just walk or run around. A place where the whole clan can fit in a day or two of gathering. That I am dreaming about.

I was puzzled why my little cousin looked nervous when I saw him in a corner. He was holding something in his back and just kept shaking his head when I was asking him what’s wrong. It turned out that he broke the Grohe faucet that was installed by my uncle yesterday. He was really scared that my uncle would get mad at him so he’s hiding in a corner of the house.

I told him that it’s okay and that it can be easily fixed. The relief I saw on his face was comical. I hugged him and reassured him that it’s okay and that no one will get mad at him.

Truth of the matter is, I don’t know what to do with the spam comments anymore! They just keep on coming back! I have Akismet installed. I am using the Blacklist in the Discussion settings of my admin page. I have even put there the IP addresses of spammers that Akismet caught. Still, they keep on coming back to spam my blog!

If you have any suggestions, or if you have undergone the same problem as I and have managed to get rid of the spammers, then please tell me how. I will appreciate all the help I can get.
