My friends have been sending me invites to join Google+ and I am just letting it sit in my inbox. I had two invites back when it wasn’t public yet and now I’ve got numerous invites now that everyone can already sign up.
You know, when Plurk was still “in” friends have been luring me to sign up. I declined again and again. The same way I am declining invites for Google+ now. Let me tell you the reason why… I easily get hooked on social networking sites! I got hooked on Twitter and Facebook and I tell you it ate so much of my time I forgot about blogging and some important offline tasks! I get hooked and I forget about everything else. That’s why I don’t join other social networking sites. It becomes more of a distraction than anything else. And it’s to my detriment that now I realize one more social networking site and there won’t be any more time left for the important tasks.
Might as well be content with Twitter and Facebook. Anyway, everyone’s there. I will probably transfer if everyone I interact with on a regular basis have moved out of Facebook and transferred to Google+.

My friend’s kid loves swimming. She would often ask my friend to bring her to the nearby pool so she can swim. Since my friend knows how much she loves the pool, my friend had her backyard dug up and created a kiddie pool for her daughter. She then bought pool heat pumps to make sure that even when her kid would want to swim at night, the water will be warm enough for her.
I remember that when I was a kid, a swimming pool is something that I’m always dreaming of. How I wish that the new house we will be moving into will have even a small pool at the backyard.

I think there’s nothing wrong with preparing for tomorrow. I know majority of us wants to live in the present and let tomorrow take care of itself. But there are some people who are worried that something might happen tomorrow that they are not prepared for. They want to anticipate as much as possible so that they have at least a Plan B to fall back on.
If you belong to those some people who worry about tomorrow, go to http://wholesaleinsurance.net. Plan B is getting an insurance plan so that whatever happens, sudden death or vehicular accident, you and your love ones have something to tap into.

Gladys just bought herself a bulova watch. She’s been pining for a fancy watch for a long time now. She really saved up every extra from her paycheck and when she’s had enough, she immediately went to a shop she frequents and bought herself the watch of her dreams.
I always say to family and close friends that we have to indulge ourselves once in a while. We have to give ourselves rewards for hard work done so as to serve as a motivation for the weeks and months to come.

I am! The wedding invitations were sent by the couple Angie and Harold last week. Most of the invites already found its way to the doorstep of the people to whom it was addressed. I am lucky enough to get an invite to this most-awaited wedding of one of the big bosses of the company I worked for.
The couple met at the company. Harold was the tax consultant while Angie was the HR director. It took a month since they were introduced for them to really get to talk to each other. After that lunch, they became inseparable! Harold resigned as the tax consultant so there won’t be any conflict at work and started courting Angie to the delight of everyone in the office. It was a fairy tale-like romance and every one who knows the two are just so happy for them!

Every day I tell myself that this is the day that my healthy life will start. And every end of the day I am filled with regret that I ate more than what I should
It’s a struggle for me. I admit that my weakness is rice. I eat more than what is healthy. I normally eat more than two cups of rice during lunch. Since I found it really hard to give up rice in my meals, I eat as much as I want during lunch and I don’t eat rice at dinner anymore.
Still…

I think I spent a chunk of my time today doing less important things. I scheduled everything so that I would finish on time. But hey, here I am again, cramming.
That’s just so me!
I wish I could have followed my schedule. I hate cramming but I always end up doing just that. I have a problem with time management, obviously, so I need to improve on that. And then there’s the problem of prioritizing as well.
I need to sort these things in my mind so I won’t end up cramming again and again.

I think I will buy myself an ipod touch 8g as a belated birthday gift. I already bought myself a couple of books but what I really want is the ipod touch.
I don’t buy every gadget that I set my eyes on. I make sure it will be of use to me. The ipod touch will not only be a means for me to write some quick blog entries but it can also serve as an ebook reader thereby minimizing my need for storage for my overflowing piles of books.

When it comes to giving gifts, women know best. We know what to give a woman who is preparing to walk down the aisle… bridal lingerie! Instead of giving cooking pots and what-nots, give her something she can use to boost her confidence on her wedding night. She will thank you for it.
I remember this person I know who gave an old albeit unused blender to a friend of his who was getting married. He was horrified when he got a thank you note from his friend with a postscript that said the blender was actually a gift from the said friend! Yikes!
